Cleaning around the house can take forever. So any little tips and tricks along the way that can save time and make big chores small are always helpful.

1. Jamie Lafrentz had a novel idea for vehicle brake cleaner…

“I use a CHUX cloth and a can of vehicle brake cleaner to get stains off wallpaper, carpet, you name it! It comes off with brake cleaner and CHUX.”

2. Whilst Rachel Welbeloved shared this clean with your neighbour’s help idea…

“My neighbour and I do a child swap. She looks after my little girl while I clean then I look after her kids while she does hers! It makes things so much faster!”

3. Ilana Gutnik had an awesome idea for cleaning stove burners…

“Ammonia inside a glad snap-lock bag with your stove burners - makes cleaning very fast & easy.”

4. We had a couple of helpful tips for your fridge…Roxanne Goss said…

“I line my glass fridge shelves with cut-to-size CHIUX cloths. Any spills or leakages and I just remove the cloth and replace. So much easier and quicker than a full fridge clean.”

5. And Leanne Davies suggested…

“I use white vinegar and lemon juice to deodorize the fridge when it gets stinky”

6. Karen Pugh had a tip for fireplaces…

“I use a small amount of ceramic oven top cleaner on a CHUX cloth to clean my fireplace glass (and follow up with the glass scraper if need be)”

7. And Bev White shared a how-you-should-clean trick…

“Start cleaning from the top and work down, doing skirting boards and floors last as dust settles.”

8. Fingerprints on walls? Trevor Bradley has a fix for that…

“If you have greasy fingerprints on the walls cover the stains with white chalk, wait a few minutes and then wipe the chalk away with a damp CHUX cloth”

9. Ranch slider tracks can be tricky to clean, Monique Jones does it this way…

“I clean the ranch slider track using an old toothbrush, and as for organising, expanding wine rack is great for holding all the necklace collection.”

10. And finally this tip is a great way to get the whole family involved from Leah Carter…

“Get your kids to join in and make it fun. Put on a song, and get the kids to race to see who can get the most done before the song ends. Kids can't resist a bit of competition!”
