
Rice Balls
Ingredients
- Short grain Sushi rice
- Sushi vinegar
- Finely diced onion
- Finely diced broccoli
- Sesame seeds
- Sesame seed oil
- Finely diced red or yellow capsicum
- Canned tuna or salmon
Method
- Cook the short grain rice according to instructions, then add the Sushi vinegar
- Lay out a sheet of GLAD Wrap and place a handful of rice on top
- Lay your other chosen ingredients on top of the rice, then wrap the GLAD Wrap securely ensuring all rice is covered.
- This is where it gets fun for kids - little fingers can squish and push the rice around to create their own shape (not necessarily a ‘ball’)
- Store in the fridge until you're ready to pop the Rice Balls into your lunchbox
