Mini Animal Pizza Faces

Get the kids involved with creating their own Mini Animal Pizza Faces! Make them the night before so they’re perfectly cooled for the following day’s lunch.

Ingredients

  • English muffins (or bagels, pita bread, or even toasted bread)
  • Tomato paste
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Shredded carrot
  • Sliced capsicum
  • Pineapple pieces
  • Salami
  • Sliced ham
  • Black olives sliced and pitted
  • Grated cheese

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
  2. This recipe is as simple as creating a masterpiece with the ingredients your children like best. Spread the English Muffins with Tomato Paste, then the trick is to choose the best ingredients to help create the animals' faces. Salami is great for ears, while sliced olives are perfect for little eyes.
  3. Once you’ve made your pizza faces, pop them in the oven at 180 degrees for around 10 minutes or until you see the cheese turn golden
  4. Once cooled, pop them into a GLAD Snap Lock Sandwich bag and they’re perfect to add to the lunchbox!
