Mocktails

I have recently given up drinking alcohol , in an effort to clense the poor ol' liver and get my body fighting fit for baby making in the future. Part of the journey of giving up alcohol has been finding good drink alternatives for those parties where everyone else is drinking scrummy things with cheeries and umbrellas. The following mocktails are pretty good and won't make you feel like you are missing out on all the fun: Kymmage's Virgin Mary (mix in a shaker and strain into a tumbler) · 3 oz Tomato juice · 1 dash Lemon juice · 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce · 2-3 drops Tabasco sauce · 1 wedge Lime · Ice Cubes Mock Bubbly · 1/2 cup Sugar · 1 1/2 cup Water · 1/2 cup Orange juice · 2 cups Cranberry juice · 1 cup Pineapple juice · 2 bottles Lemon-lime soda Boil sugar and water until sugar dissolves, cool.

Stir cranberry, pineapple, orange juices. Chill. Just before serving, add the soda. Black Cow (blend ingredients together, pour into cocktail glass and decorate with whipped cream and a cherry)

· 2 scoops Vanilla ice-cream

· 10 oz Root beer

· 1 tblsp Chocolate syrup

· Whipped cream

· Maraschino cherry

Ahhh (prepare in a punch bowl)

· 1 part Cranberry juice

· 1 part Orange juice

· 1 part Pineapple juice

1 part Ginger ale

Vitamin Light (mix in a shaker and then strain into a tumbler)

· 1 part Orange juice

· 1 part Apple juice

· 1 part Pineapple juice

· Ice

Safe Sex on the Beach €` I love the name of this one as well

· 3 oz Cranberry juice

· 3 oz Grapefruit juice

· 2 oz Peach nectar

· Maraschino cherry

Banana Strawberry Diaquri €` in the blender!

· 1/2 lb frozen Strawberries

· 1 frozen Banana

· 2 cups fresh Apple juice

The Virgin Screwdriver €` this one tastes almost like a real one!

· Orange Juice

· Tonic Water

Shot in a Pot:

· 1/2 oz Ginger ale

· 1/2 oz Tabasco sauce

Fuzzless Navel

· 2 oz Peach nectar

· 6 oz Orange juice

Throw a couple of these together in jugs for your next party €` new mums and kids will love them too.
