The squad is now disbanded with John Barron to blame.

John Barron now finds himself forced to leave the Los Angeles , change his identity and start a new life.

But even with his new life in England Barron cannot let Raymond go; he wants to understand what Raymond referred to as 'the pieces that would ensure the future'. Just as he realises the clues left behind aren't getting him anywhere one of Raymond's contacts is murdered in Paris and there is only one man that could have killed him`.Raymond.

Barron feels compelled to take up the case again and in doing so is led to Russia where Raymond's identity and ultimate mission are revealed.

While is not for the faint-hearted, I would highly recommend this novel to all those who would enjoy a heart pounding thriller.
